COPI is currently searching for their new project manager to join us on our growth journey. The projects are primarily located in Copenhagen and involve development of properties for both residential and commercial use.
COPI is driven by finding the value-creating potential when they look at a building, open a door, or step into a space. It's about a fundamental belief and motivation that no building is a standard building, and design is not created just to fill a space. COPI is built on the vision of: We invest, we design, we develop, we create, we transform, we build. Out of the ordinary.
As a project manager, you will be responsible for project management in connection with the renovation of residential and commercial properties in the Copenhagen area, mainly older properties in inner Copenhagen. Initially, you will be assigned to projects located on Vandkunsten and Kronprinsessegade in close collaboration with the construction director.
The main tasks will include:
- Preparation of schedules
- Follow-up on the construction budget
- Ad-hoc tasks on-site at construction sites
- Quality assurance of construction projects
- Preparation of contracts
- Preparation of construction programs
- Coordination of consultants in the execution process
- Preparation of drawing materials
Who are you?
It is envisioned that you have a background as a building constructor, engineer, or architect with 5-10 years of practical experience in project management, client consulting, or similar.
In addition, emphasis is placed on your collaboration skills and a positive and solution-oriented mindset. It is important that you have professional knowledge of construction methods, combined with an interest in materials and design. Furthermore, you are structured and have good communication skills, both written and verbal. You are good at working independently and can coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
Understanding of the phases of construction and regulatory processes, as well as familiarity with BR18 - Building Regulations, will be emphasized. Moreover, a healthy interest in sustainability is desirable. It is a plus if you have had dialogue with authorities and have knowledge of application processes for renovations, as well as the requirements associated with the construction process from start to finish. Experience from a construction site will be an advantage but is not a requirement.
